The Victory Income Strategy seeks to provide maximum current income without undue risk to principal. The principal investment approach is to invest primarily in U.S. dollar-denominated investment-grade fixed-income securities.
Philosophy & Process
The Victory Income Strategy seeks to build, bond-by-bond, a yield-focused portfolio to generate strong total returns while investing primarily in U.S. dollar-denominated investment-grade fixed-income securities. The Strategy invests in obligations of the U.S., state, and local governments, and their agencies and instrumentalities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, corporate debt securities, and repurchase agreements. The Strategy may invest up to 65% of assets in corporate bonds, up to 20% of assets in foreign securities, and up to 10% of assets in high-yield securities. The Strategy may invest in income-producing common stock, preferred securities, other securities with debt-like characteristics, and derivatives.
