Investment Approach

The Victory Core Plus Fixed Income Strategy seeks to provide high current income without undue risk to principal. The principal investment approach is to invest primarily in investment grade securities and at least 80% of assets in debt securities that have a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity between 3 to 10 years. 

Philosophy & Process

The Victory Core Plus Fixed Income Strategy seeks to build, bond-by-bond, a yield-focused portfolio to generate strong total returns while keeping the dollar-weighted maturity between 3 years to 10 years. The Strategy invests primarily in obligations of the U.S., state, and local governments, and their agencies and instrumentalities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, corporate debt securities, repurchase agreements, and other securities with debt-like characteristics. The Strategy may invest up to 65% of assets in corporate bonds, up to 10% of assets in high-yield securities, and up to 20% of assets in foreign securities.
